Guest Experience Coordinator

Hours: Part-time | 10-25 hours/week

Days: Weekdays

Times: Mornings | 8:30 am – 12:30 pm or Afternoons | 1:30 pm – 5:00 pm

Reports to: Manager

Job Summary:

As a Guest Experience Coordinator, you’ll be the face of Neverland Fun, ensuring every family has a memorable experience. Your role will be to welcome guests, assist with their needs, and maintain a joyful and safe atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Service:
    • Warmly welcome and greet families as they arrive.
    • Provide information about Neverland Fun, activities, and safety guidelines.
    • Answer questions and assist with any guest needs or concerns.
    • Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction by creating a friendly and engaging environment.
    • Handle customer feedback and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
    • Facilitate birthday parties and special events, making them fun and memorable for all attendees.
    • Enforce our policies and procedures in a kind, courteous, and respectful manner.
  • Play Space Maintenance:
    • Monitor the play areas to ensure they are clean, safe, and well-organized.
    • Assist in setting up and tidying play areas. Ensure the set-up of the play areas at the beginning of each play session is up to standards.
    • Report any maintenance or safety issues to the manager.
  • Team Collaboration:
    • Work closely with other team members to create a cohesive and supportive work environment.
    • Participate in team meetings and training sessions to stay updated on policies and procedures.
    • Contribute ideas and feedback to improve the overall guest experience.
  • Operations:
    • Answer phone calls with a friendly and helpful attitude, ensuring every interaction provides excellent customer service.
    • Learn opening and closing procedures including coffee brewing, retail and inventory check, etc.
    • Learn and operate the Square POS system. Will train.

Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in customer service, childcare, or a related field is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A friendly, enthusiastic, and positive attitude.
  • Ability to multitask and handle busy periods with ease.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Passion for working with children and families.

Party Host

Hours: Part-time | 10-15 hours/week

Days: Weekends

Times: Mornings | 9:30 am – 1:30 pm or Afternoons | 1:00 pm – 6:30 pm

Reports to: Manager

Job Summary:

As a Party Host at Neverland Fun, you’ll be the life of the party, ensuring every birthday celebration and special event is memorable and enjoyable for our young guests and their families. Your role will be to lead and manage parties, from setup to cleanup, while creating a joyful and fun atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare the party area with decorations, supplies, and activities before guests arrive.
  • Ensure all party materials and equipment are in place and ready for use. Review the event itinerary with your co-host and ensure everyone is on the same page.
  • Welcome the guest of honor and their family and give them a tour of the facility.
  • Review the event itinerary with the client before guests arrive to ensure everything is perfectly planned.
  • Facilitate the serving of food, cake and refreshments.
  • Keep the party on schedule and ensure a smooth flow of activities.
  • Interact with children and families with a positive and friendly attitude.
  • Address any questions, concerns, or special requests from parents and guardians.
  • After each party, clean-up and reset the party room for the next event. 
  • Monitor the play areas to ensure they are clean, safe, and well-organized.
  • Assist in setting up and tidying play areas. Ensure the set-up of the play areas at the beginning of each party are up to standards.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in event hosting, childcare, or a related field is a plus.
  • Enthusiastic, energetic, and outgoing personality.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask and handle a fast-paced environment while remaining calm.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Passion for working with children and creating memorable experiences.
